About the job…
The Indoor Air Quality Technician will interface with clients at their home/business spaces, walk them through the job process, and deliver an exceptional service and experience. This will be a split role between two companies, Green Home Solutions and Ducky Ducts. Person will have to opportunity to help us with expansion efforts into the new market of Greenville/ Spartanburg. This will include activities related to business development, training and assisting on key initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles and cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
- Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to perform the work.
- Assists in readying jobsite with proper equipment for that job.
- Performs tasks of the service with attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Provides a positive and memorable experience for the client and brings any issues, helpful suggestions or concerns to them.
- Follows proper safety practices and wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, protective suit, safety goggles) while working.
- Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site.
- Problem solves through challenges.
- Trains new employees.
- Assists in business development efforts and key initiatives related to territory expansion.
- Realizes the importance of internal and external communications and maintains strong communication.
- Works closely with management on continuous improvement.
- Possesses a growth mindset and genuinely wants to be challenged to expand abilities, skills and opportunities.

- High school education, or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and access to dependable transportation.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and carry equipment up/downstairs.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal skills.
- Professional manner and team-oriented.
- Critical thinker and passionate about being part of a growing, dynamic team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience and/or certifications in the HVAC and/or disaster restoration industry are a plus but not required.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
