The Indoor Air Quality Technician will assist existing technicians in mold remediation and other indoor air quality related jobs including disinfection and mold remediation of homes, buildings and crawl spaces. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be on time
- Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas daily.
- Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
- Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.
- Performs basic demo tasks—cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays disinfectant and other materials.
- Able to maneuver in crawlspaces to remove debris, insulation, vapor barrier and reinstall.
- Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
- Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators-masks, Tyvek Suit) while working.
- Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site

- High school education, or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and access to dependable transportation.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs., carry equipment up/downstairs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal skills.
- Professional manner and team oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience and/or certifications in the indoor air quality industry a plus but not required.

Compensation: $23.00 - $23.00 per hour
